Care Professional - Honest Senior Care

£12.50 - £15.00 / Hour (mileage and travel time paid)

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to the following:

Ensure clients take their prescribed medication on time and safely
Support and assist clients who can’t move on their own
Help clients dress, undress, bathe, wash, eat etc.
Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
Assisting clients to manage their continence needs
Cook/prepare meals according to the client’s preferences
Ensure good nutrition and hydration
Help clients with their shopping or accompany clients whilst shopping
Taking clients out, to appointments or clubs/groups etc.
Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
Provide emotional support and ongoing companionship
Reporting to and informing supervisors/office or doctor about any issues, incidents, changes or uncommon events
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Working within agreed ways of working, following the carer’s code of conduct and following company policies and procedures
Always obtaining consent and treating client’s with dignity and respect
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure communication and effective partnership with other agencies
