Care Manager - Honest Senior Care

Band £30K-£35K

​

Responsibilities 

Including but not limited to the following:

 

• Consulting with service users and family members to discuss their health problems

• Managing and leading the team

• Business development and growth in line with the business plan, focusing on the private sector market

• Recruitment and retention of staff

• Maintaining compliance with CQC

• Developing person-centred care planning to address service user’s personal health care needs

• Enquiry handling

• Work allocation to a team of carers on a daily/weekly basis

• Carryout spot checks, observations, and supervisions

• Participate with on call duties

• Completing regular audits

• Develop and coordinate healthcare programs

• Communicate between staff, service users and family

• Handle customer case management and education

• Develop patient goals and monitor progress

• Maintain service user confidentiality and quality care

 

Requirements and skills

 

• Proven work experience as a Care Manager

• Highly organised with a strong ability to manage different priorities

• Ability to work with others and use resources to problem solve

• Apply good judgment to fast-changing situations

• Strong customer service skills

• Kind and always caring

• Committed to health & safety

• Committed to infection control 

• Well-organised and reliable

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Positive and compassionate attitude

• Strong ethics and values

• A valid driver’s licence
